How to use Farmstead Bedding
CLEAR YOUR SPACE
Remove existing bedding material from your animal’s space. No need to fully wash — Farmstead Bedding is effective evenin a lightly soiled environment.
APPLY & ACTIVATE
Spread dry pellets across the coop floor (1–2 inch layer). Either let your animals scratch and activate them naturally, or spray lightly with water to begin the fluffing process. The pellets will expand 4x and become soft bedding within minutes.
REFRESH & COMPOST
Remove soiled sections as needed. Fully replace every 2-4 weeks depending on flock size. Used bedding goes straight into your compost or garden — it's already ammonium-neutralized and safe to apply.
Real Coops. Real Animals. Real People.
